While the technological advances of the computer age have not yet created a way to fully replicate the tonal intricacies of the Pipe Organ, digital sampling techniques and MIDI playback do create a very close virtual experience of a pipe organ.

On this site I hope to present both the concepts and software (both free and commercial) required to create and experience the virtual pipe organ. For those of you who are more 'DIY' focused, you will find a lot of good topics here, and for those who just want a 'pick up and play' experience I also have some plans and topics for your benefit.
